Sharon K. Halverson, 64, Huxley, IA, died July 11, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, IA.

Sharon was born September 15, 1942 in Williams, IA to Harry and Verl (Burkett) Naber. She graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1960. She was united in marriage to Wayne Halverson on April 3, 1965 in Kamrar, IA. She was employed with Praxair in Ankeny, IA for nearly 30 years. She was a member of the Palestine Lutheran Church, a 35-year member of the Seldom Silent Club, a Sunday School teacher, choir member and served as an Advisor for the church Youth Group. Sharon loved her kids and family and enjoyed a good mystery.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Huxley, IA; two sons: Scott of Elkhart, IA, Mark of Huxley, IA; and six grandchildren: Ashley, Courtney, Devan, Garett, Austin and McKena.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother.

Funeral services were at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 14, 2007, 10:30 AM at the Palestine Lutheran Church in Huxley. Rev. Donald Dovre officiated. Visitation was 5:00-8:00 PM July 13 at the Palestine Lutheran Church.
