NEVADA JOURNAL, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, March 8, 2007.

Robert "Rusty" Schnur, age 72, of Faribault, Minnesota and formerly of Colo, IA, died February 22, 2007, at the Homestead Hospice of Owatonna, Minnesota.

Memorial services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Sunday, March 4, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Colo, Iowa. A memorial visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Sunday for one-half hour prior to the services.

Robert Wayne, the son of William and Lila (Baker) Schnur was born on July 24, 1934 in Colo, Iowa. Bob served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He attended Winona State University and University of Minnesota. He was employed in the Advertising Department of the Faribault Daily News for many years. Bob was an avid golfer and had three "hole-in-one" shots.

He is survived by two siblings, Ray (and Dolly) Schnur of Colo, IA and Elsie (and Tom) Ryan of Cresco, IA; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lila; two brothers, Earl and Ralph Schnur; one sister, Louise Wycoff and three nephews, Raymond, David and Duane Schnur.
