Robert "Tiny" Dodd, 61, of Colo, died Sunday, Oct. 8, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at Colo United Methodist Church in Colo. Burial will be in Colo Cemetery.

Robert "Tiny" Dodd was born Jan. 16, 1945, in State Center, to Lloyd and Verba (Nichol) Dodd. He graduated from Baxter High School in 1963. He married Susan Myers Sept. 16, 1967, at Colo United Methodist Church. He was a supervisor at Fisher Controls in Marshalltown for more than 30 years. He was a member of Colo United Methodist Church.

He is survived by three sons, Tony (Melissa) Dodd, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Jason (Kim) Dodd, of Colo, and Jeff (Lisa) Dodd, of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; six grandchildren, Tarynn Dodd, Keely Dodd, Hunter Dodd, Joshua Quick, Teeghan Dodd and Reece Dodd, with one grandchild expected to be born this week. Also surviving are his father, Lloyd Dodd, of Baxter, and his mother-in-law, Helen Branon, of Colo.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his wife, Susan, on Dec. 15, 2004.

Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at Colo United Methodist Church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Colo Fire and Rescue.

Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing is in charge of arrangements.
