Robert 'Bob' K. Johnson

Robert "Bob" K. Johnson, 71, of Corydon, Iowa died Friday, September 22, 2006 at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Per his wishes, Robert was cremated. There is no service planned.

Robert is survived by his wife Glenda Johnson of Corydon; two brothers William (Joyce) Johnson of Lonoke, Ark, and George Johnson of Rock Island, Ill.; plus one sister Ellen (David) James of Hampton, Ill.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Faye Lorene Johnson and one brother Donald Johnson.

Robert Karns Johnson was born June 19, 1935 to Lawrence and Lorene (Metz) Johnson in Chariton, Iowa. He married Glenda Clark on June 27, 1971 in Collins, Iowa.

Robert served in the United States Army from 1954 till his honorable discharge in 1959.

Robert was a self-employed contractor and electrician for several years.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society in Robert's name.
