THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, September 17, 2006.

Charles "Chuck" Adams, 77, died Thursday, Aug. 31, in Los Lunas, N.M. Memorial services were Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Senior Living Systems in Los Lunas, officiated by a minister of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Chuck was born Aug 13, 1929, in Des Moines, to Nova and Archie Adams. He was best known for managing Old Orchard Mobile Home Park in Ames for more than 20 years. In 1999, he moved to Columbia, Mo., to be near his daughter, and in 2005, he enthusiastically moved to New Mexico with her.

He is survived by two daughters, Joette Burgess, of West Hills, Calif., and Marcia Lauer, of Los Lunas; three grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
