Vivian Lorraine PARKER was born August 15, 1904 to O.W. and Anna PARKER in Maxwell, Iowa and the family lived here unitl about 10 years ago, when they moved to Des Moines.

Though she was an invalid all her life, she was able to scatter sunshine in her home in various ways, in spite of her affliction.

She was preceded in death by a most devoted mother and father. Her mother having passed away in April 1945 and her father in January, 1946.

She leaves to mourn her passing one sister, Josephine RAY and a nephew, Parke RAY and a number of relatives and friends.

Vivian passed away suddenly Sunday, February 16th having been in her usual health.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the V.O.Ray home with Rev. C.R.Fitz in charge.

Mrs. Harold Mohler sang two solos, "Jesus Savior Pilot Me" and "Near the Cross," accompanied by Mrs. H. C. Larsen at the piano.

The Floral offerins were most beautiful. The pallbearers were J.B. , Forest and Glen SCOTT, James OLINGER, Claire OLINGER and Ralph COOPER. Burial was in the Maxwell cemetery.

Out of town relatives in attendance were; Miss Patrica MORR and Claire OLINGER of Des Moines; Mrs. Minnie OLINGER and son, James and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph COOPER of Nevada; Mr. and Mrs. F.O.RAY of Conrad and Mrs. O.G.RAY and Mrs. Geo. GAMBLE of Marshalltown.
