THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, April 29, 2006.

Ryan D. Spence, 9, of Story City, died Friday, April 28, at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will follow in the Story City Cemetery.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Michele Anderson of Story City; brother, Adam, and sister, Mara, at home; and grandparents, Mike and Fayann Spence of Jewell and Richard and Hannah Ann Anderson of Jewell.

Visitation will be Monday, May 1, after 3 p.m., with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m., at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
