THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, December 29, 1949, page 2, column 2. "Mrs. Eva Carver, 77, died Wednesday, Dec. 21st in the Mercy hospital, day at the Moffitt funeral home in day at the Moffit funeral home in Mitchellville at 10 a. m. Burial in Collins cemetery. Mrs. Carver had been in ill health for some time and was taken care of at the Stewart Nursing Home in Altoona. Her only relative left is Mrs. Eliza Bailey, who is with her daughter, Mrs. Everett Gardner and was unable to attend the service." **Editorial note - Obituary typed exactly as it appeared in the newspaper.
