Marge E. Schoenbeck, 95, of Sigourney, died Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Sigourney Care Center. She was born Nov. 1, 1910 in Harper IA, to Wendell and Anna Beck Allar. She attended school at St. Elizabeth School in Harper. On Jan. 19, 1932, she married Lorenz Fred Schoenbeck. He died April 27, 1999. They owned and operated Schoenbeck Drugs and a theater in Zearing for many years. She later traveled with her husband installing telephones for Leich Electric. They moved to Nevada IA in the 1970's. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Geneva Drumm, and infant brother Richard Allar.

Surviving is a nephew Alfred Drumm of San Jose CA.

Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney. Rev. Philip Ryan officiating. Burial St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper. Arrangements by Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney.
