PIONEER WOMAN DIES

Mrs. Catharine (Grove) Arrasmith, one of the pioneer women of Story county passed away yesterday at the home of her son John Arrasmith of Gilbert. Mrs. Arrasmith was about eighty years old and had been a resident of this section since 1852. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Pleasant Grove church with Rev. A. W. Caul in charge.

Mrs. Arrasmith was a sister of J. J. Grove and is survived by five children in addition to her brother. They are Mrs. John Noble of Bloomington, John Arrasmith of Gilbert, Chas. Arrasmith of Boone. Grant Arrasmith of near Stanhope, and Will Arrasmith of Meridan, Iowa. All of the children are here for the funeral service.
