THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, January 26, 2006.

Constance (Conni) Craig, 54, of Ames, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames. Burial will be in Story Memorial Gardens.

Conni was born Nov. 14, 1951, in Ames to Lowell and Beverly (Hazelwood) Craig. She graduated from Ames High School in 1969. She worked in her family's business, Marigold Tack Shop, for many years. She gave horseback riding lessons and won many trophies for showing her horses. She loved her cats, dogs, horses and gardening.

She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and a former member of Ames Town and Country Saddle Club.

She is survived by two brothers, Gary and Ron Craig; and one sister, Carol Craig, all of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
