Robert E. Warren, 39, Ames, IA, resident until 1968 when he moved to Sioux City, IA, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1980, at St Joseph’s Hospital, Sioux City. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1980, from the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, Sioux City. with the Rev Glenn Littrell, Central Baptist Church, Sioux City, officiating. The body will be cremated.

Mr. Warren was born Jan 21, 1941, in Ames to Floyd and Inez Warren. On Oct 3, 1970, in Sioux City he married Ina Martin Platzeck. He worked for the city until disabled three years ago. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church and the Iowa Association of Custodians.

Survivors include his wife, Ina; his parents, Floyd and Inez Warren, 719 Carroll Avenue; two sons, Richard and Martin Platzeck, Sioux City; four daughters, Pamela and julie Warren, Boone, IA; Teresa Platzeck and Rebecca Warren, Sioux City, IA; three brothers, Tom Warren and Jack Warren, Ames, IA, and Lester Warren, Cedar Rapids, IA; and one sister, Helen Culvert, Des Moines, IA.
