Lloyd "Bud" Ronald Warren, 65, of Ames, IA, died Monday, Aug 12, 1996, of heart failure at his home. Funeral mass will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the St Cecilia Catholic church in Ames, with the Rev Terry Rassmussen officiating. Burial will be in the Story Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Lloyd "Bud" Warren was born in Ames, IA, the son of Oscar Newton and Winifred May (Sills) Warren. On Oct 16, 1947, he married Rose Marie Larsen in Princeton, MO. Mr Warren was in the masonry business for 50 years and worked with his father until 1960. At that time, he became owner and operator of Warren Masonry Construction. Mr Warren retired in 1995. He was a member of the St Cecilia Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Mr Warren is survived by his wife; three daughters, Deborah Larson of Nevada, IA, Denise Warren of Ames, IA, and Duree Cooper of Falkville, AL; two sons, Dale Warren, and David Warren, both of Story City, IA; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Eva Cadman of Nevada, and Garnet of Ames, IA.

He was preceded in death by two sons, one sister and four brothers.

Visitation is tonight with the family present from 6-9 p.m. at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames, IA. A scripture service will be at 7:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Mary Greeley Medical Center Foundation, Department for the dialysis unit.
