Josephine Lobeli "Josie" (Kennedy) Warren was born Dec 24, 1913 in Manito, IL, the daughter of Jacob and Maggie (Camp) Kennedy. It was in Nevada, IA, that she married Albert Warren on Feb 1, 1930. God blessed this union with children and a fruitful legacy. Josie was a homemaker and long time resident of Ames, IA. For a time, she was a member of the Woburn Baptist Church of Greenville, IL. Josie is fondly remembered for her life testimony of faith in her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by two sons, Roy Warren of Huxley, IA, and Allen Warren and Sarah of Woodville, FL; two daughters, Lois Anderson and Archie of Ames, IA, and Margaret Scott and John of Faribault, MN; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Josie was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son; one brother; and one sister.

Josie L. Warren went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 2, 2001.
