Paul Maxwell Freymuller, 92, of Council Bluffs, died Nov. 21, 2005, at Woodlands Rehab Center.
He was born Dec. 25, 1912, in rural Magnolia to Albert H. and Sara A. (Tuffy) Freymuller. He was a 1981 graduate of Magnolia High School. He attended Chillicothe College in Missouri. He served four years with 84th Division of U.S. Army during World War II. Formerly farmed in Mondamin-Blencoe area. In 1968 he moved to Nevada and was a plant worker for Crows Hybrid Corn Co. for 15 years. He moved to Council Bluffs in 1982. He was a life member of V.F.W. Post 2508, Omaha, Neb.; 60-year member of American Legion Post 378 at Mondamin.
Mr. Freymuller was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Thomsen) Freymuller on April 16, 2001. Also preceded by parents, brothers, Harold and Harry, and sister Lucy.
Survivors include son, Larry Dean Freymuller, and wife, Jan, of Lee's Summit, Mo.; daughter, Paulette Kay Luken, of Council Bluffs; three grandchildren; three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
Services were held Nov. 25, at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs. Sue Newsome, Chaplain Alegent Hospice, officiated. Burial was in the Magnolia Cemetery, with graveside military honors by Mondamin American Legion.
Memorials may be offered to Alegent Health Hospice or Diabetes Association.
