George Frazier, Died at Anamosa, Funeral Today

Funeral services are being held this afternoon at Anamosa for George B. Frazier, 76, native son of Nevada and retired banker at Anamosa, who died Sunday after a long illness.

After leaving Nevada, Mr. Frazier went to Breda where he established a bank in 1890 and there remained until 1914 when he went to Anamosa and purchased the controlling interest in a large private bank.

Mr. Frazier was a son of James S. Frazier, a pioneer Nevada lawyer and landowner.

He leaves a sister, Mrs. Alma Ashby of Sioux City; a half brother, Dr. Max Frazier of Chicago and Nevada, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Zoe Frazier-Hubbs of Medford, Ore., and Miss Seb Frazier of Berkley, Calif.

Mr. Frazier graduated with the class of 1880, Nevada high school and had been the sole survivor of the class before his death. Other members of the class were Elfa Lockridge-Worsley, Millie Butt, who became Mrs. Frank Jorgenson, Charles Tanner of Wichita, Kans., Maggie Mitchell, who became Mrs. Brown of Ames, Ben Bates, Rosa Butt and Charles Talbott, all of whom are thought to be deceased.
