Funeral Rites for Mrs. Wm. Link

Maxwell, Feb. 28 -- Funeral rites for Mrs. Williams Link of the Loring neighborhood, who died early Saturday morning after an illness of about three weeks, were held Monday afternoon at the Loring church with Rev. H. D. Robinson in charge assisted by Rev. P. R. Epley. Mrs. George W. Jones and Mrs. Epley sang three numbers, "Ivory Palace," "When They Ring Those Golden Bells," and "Go Bury Thy Sorrow." The latter song was the request of the deceased. The pallbearers were Floyd Carver, Bert Kirk, Walter Hawkins, Ray Ashba, Robert Cairns and Ray Howell. The floral offering were many and most beautiful. Mrs. Link, whose maiden name was Alice Garlock, was born March 23, 1868, on the old Garlock homestead near the Link home where she had lived for 37 years. She had lived in this community her entire life.

She was married to William Link Feb. 23, 1893, and to them three children were born, (Lela) Mrs. Horace Scott of Maxwell, (Edna) Mrs. Melvin B. Nelson of Great Falls, Mont., and Ross Link of Maxwell.

Besides her husband and other children, she leaves a brother, William Garlock of Cambridge, and two sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Applegate of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. W. L. Troup of Maxwell.

Burial was made in the adjoining church cemetery.
