He leaves to mourn his passing his father and mother, Alton and Albert of Sioux City, Mrs. Otto Twedt of Roland, Gladys and Donald of Story City and half-brothers and sisters, Mrs. C. O. Poole and Mrs. Arthur Gross of Des Moines, and Theodore and Osmund Rafdal of Ames, besides many friends and relatives.

The funeral services were held at the Bethel Lutheran church at 2 p. m. Thursday, April 18, with Rev. Paulsrud officiating. In addition to the kind and comforting words of the pastor were the enlightening remarks of Rev. Buland; also devotion by John Severaid.

Songs were rendered by Orville Olson, singing, "Does Jesus Care?" and Burnette Severeid singing "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."

Interment was made at the Story City cemetery, the pallbearers bein Donald, Joseph, and Orlo Poole of Des Moines, and Kenneth Johnson, Arnold Sondal and Shirley Silkebakken, all of Story City.

Clarence was a good boy, and he will be greatly missed by his famiy and many friends.
