Nancy Simondson [sic], daughter of Mrs. James A. Wiggins, died at her home in this city at an early hour Tuesday morning, after an illness of but nine days duration, of typhoid fever. At the time of her death Nancy was 12 years, 5 months and 18 days old, a dutiful child with an agreeable disposition, loved by all her playmates. During the short time of her illness she suffered more than pen is able to describe, and at no time was there any hope of her recovery. Funeral services were held in the Evangelical church at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and the remains afterward interred in the local cemetery.
