THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, November 3, 2005.

Virginia O'Neil Erler of Whittier, Calif., died Sunday, Oct. 23. Virginia was the daughter of the late Clem and Mary Leahy O'Neil of the former O'Neil Dairy in Ames. She was a graduate of Ames High School and Iowa State University.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Stanleigh Erler, and one brother, William O'Neil.

She is survived by one sister, Frances Sajbel; and two daughters, Maryleigh Fuller and Maura O'Neil Johnson, and their families.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Burke Chapel, in Ames.
