MARJORIE BOYD

Marjorie Ione Boyd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Georg Boyd, was born in Story City Sept. 29, 1922, and died Dec. 7, 1935, at the age of 13 years, 2 months and 8 days.

She leaves to mourn her loss her mother, two sisters, Gertrude and Mabel, and four brothers, Walter, Orville, Elden and Marion; also her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schlafke of Jewell and Mr. and Mrs. Erick G. Boyd of Story City.

She was baptized in her infancy by Rev. Paulsrud in the Bethel church. She was a regular attendant of the Sunday school and other church doings for children. She attended the public schools of Story City and was in the eighth grade, was near the head of her class and in every way a dutiful child.

The funeral service was held at the home Monday, Rev. G. O. Paulsrud officiating, and the mortal body of the young girl was tenderly laid to rest in Fairview cemetery beside her father, who died July 31 of this year.
