Paul Duane Barrowcliff, 84, of Ames died of complications of lymphocytic leukemia Sunday at Israel Family Hospice House there. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gilbert Evangelical Free Church in Gilbert, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mr. Barrowcliff was born in Mount Etna ad had lived in the Corning area before moving to the Gilbert area in 1948. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; a daughter, Judi Bowlsby of Mount Ayr; a son, Steve of Ames; a sister, Lois James of Des Moines; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames. Memorial contributions may be made to Israel Family Hospice House.
