OBITUARY OF ANNA LARSON

Anna Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Severt Larson, was born at Wiota, Cass county, July3, 1886. She came to Story county with her parents when she was 14 years old, they having settled on a farm in the Roland neighborhood. She was confirmed by Rev. Smedal in the Bergen church at Roland.

Twenty years ago she came with her parents to Story City this had been her home ever since. Both her parents preceded her in death. She had not been in good health for several years and suffered a stroke a few day before she died at the Story City hospital Oct. 12. Three brothers survive her, namely Lars, Jake and Severt.

Funeral services were held Monday in the St. Petri church, Rev. Scarvie officiating. The pall bearers were cousins of the deceased: Thomas, Orrin, Roy and Jesse Larson, Julius Wilson and Lloyd Johnson. The singing was by a girl's quintet. Interment was made in Fairview cemetery.
