OBITUARY OF MRS. SAM MATHIASON

At the funeral service of Mrs. Sam Mathiason, held in the Grace church here last Friday, Rev. Fuller read the following obituary:

Agnes Myrtle Mathiason, nee Dinsmore, was born Dec. 12th, 1887, near Lincoln, Nebr. Here she lived only a short time, her parent moving to Portland, Maine, where she grew to womanhood. From there she went to Story City, Iowa, where she married Sam Mathiason on Dec. 12, 1907. Seven children were born to this union, one of whom died in infancy. The family moved to Minnesota in 1917, where they have since resided. Her death took place on Nov. 16, 1932.

Mrs. Mathiason suffered from illness for three years prior to her death, but was bedfast only about two months. She was a very patient sufferer and was never heard to complain about anything that was done for her. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, and a very dear friend to those who were most intimate with her. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and six children, one grandchild, her father and three brothers, also a host of friends. Her children are Mrs. Frank Kendle of Minneapolis, Leona, Orin, Elsa, Erlene and Carl, all of whom were with her at her bedside before she passed away. Her father O. O. Dinsmore, resides at Hillsdale, Wyo., her brother Ray at Montrose, Mich., her brother Charles at Nora Springs and her brother Ward at Lake View.

Funeral services were held at Fairmont, Minn., on Nov. 17, conducted by Rev. O. B. Endreson, pastor of Grace Lutheran* church. Burial was made at Center cemetery, following service at the Grace church in Story City.
