Mrs. Chris Omvig

Ingeborg Ludvigson was born in Kvindherre, Norway, Feb. 20, 1849, and died at Story City on March 12, 1930, at the age of 81 years and 20 days.

She came to Clinton county, Iowa, in 1965, where she was married to C. Omvig Dec. 31, 1866. They moved to Hamilton county in 1879, where she resided on the farm until 1907, when they moved to Story City where she lived until her death.

She was the mother of 11 children. Four preceded her in death, two in infancy, Lizzie and Nels several years ago, and the following survive her: Jens, Lars and Albert of Story City, Tom and Ole of Mylo, N.D., Christ of Spirit Lake, and Hans of Des Moines. She also leaves 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is the last of her sisters and brothers.

The funeral services were held Saturday at the Immanuel church, Rev. Helmarck in charge. Burial took place in Fairview cemetery. The pall bearers were: Edwin Olson. P.M. Phillops, Lars Durby, O.G. Hendricksen, Henry Toft, and John Sunnoe.
