Mrs. Henry Wilson Died in Roland
Mrs. Henry Wilson, 79, long time resident of the Roland community, died at her home there Thursday afternoon of last week, following a stroke
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Salem Lutheran church, Rev. O. Holen officiating. Burial was in the Roland cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Norway but moved to this country about 60 years ago. The Wilson family operated a farm north of Roland for many years, but retired and moved to Roland about 25 years ago. Mr. Wilson died 10 years ago.
Five children survive. They are Mrs. Isabelle Olson, Mrs. Tom Wicks and Fred Wilson, all of Roland; Andrew of Hazel, S. D.; and Ben of Madison, S. D. A sister, Mrs. O. F. Olson, lives in Roland. Two children, Julia and Gus, preceded her in death.
