Mrs. Henry Jacobs

Carrie Nelson was born in Christiania, Norway, Nov. 1st, 1921, at 9:30 a. m. at her home, at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 15 days. Her illness lasted about ten days.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Norwegian church in Norway and came to America in the spring of 1877.

She was united in marriage to Henry Jacobs June 16, 1885. To this union was born 4 daughters and 1 son. Two children preceded her in death, an infant child Elmer Leo 10 days old, and a daughter Agnes Margaret, aged 13 years.

Three years ago, July 1st, Mrs. Jacobs met with a serious accident and broke her hip and ever since has been a patient sufferer.

She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, 3 daughters, Mrs. John A. Johnson, Mrs. Frank Doolittle of Story City and Ida at home; two step-sons, Oliver and Martin Jacobs; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Thompson of Clay Center, Kansas, and Mrs. Helen Swanske of Chicago; five grandchildren, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
