Mrs. Ivar Larson [sic]

Mrs. Ivar Larson [sic] was born in Vike, Sondhordland, Norway, on Feb. 2, 1848, and died at Story City, Feb. 18, 1922, at the aage of 74 years.

She came to this country from Norway in 1867 and settled in Story county. She has been married twice. From the first marriage she leaves one daughter Mrs. M. G. Boyd of Albert Lea, Minn.

In 1873 she was married to Ivar Larson. To this union seven children were born, of whom two are dead. Those living are Sven L., Helen, Josie, Carrie and Julia.

She lived on the family homestead four miles northwest of Roland until fourteen years ago when she moved to Story City, where she had lived since.

She was an active member of the Bethel Lutheran church for many years. Two years ago she received a stroke from which she never recovered.

Besides her husband and the children mentioned, she also leaves a brother and 25 grandchildren.
