OBITUARY
Mrs. Oscar Cody

Roseanna Elizabeth Warren was born Nov. 29th, 1884, at Mansfield, Ill., and departed this life Oct. 6, 1918, at the age of 33 years, 10 months and 23 days, after an illness of nine weeks with heart trouble. She became a member of the church of Christ at Mansfield, Ill., in 1885 and has since lived a Christian life.

She was united in marriage to Oscar Cody of Ames March 9th, 1904, and they have lived the greater part of their married life near Ontario. To this union were born a daughter, Edna, aged 13 years and a son Howard, aged 7.

Besides the husband and children she leaves to mourn her death, a father, Arthur Warren, a step mother, two brothers, Eddy and Oscar Warren and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Sills, many relatives and a host of friends.

Mrs. Cody was a faithful wife, a loving mother, a good neighbor and a true friend. Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Ontario Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. L. C. Harris of Ames. Interment took place at the Ames cemetery.
