O. T. BRATTEBO DIES ON FOURTH.
O. T. Brattebo succumbed to the stroke of paralysis by which he was stricken on Monday morning last week, dying at noon of Thursday, July 4. He hardly recovered consciousness during the three days he was sick. The funeral services were held from the Evangelical church Sunday afternoon, Rev. Yerger officiating. The burial was taken in charge by the Baldur Lodge, K. of P., of which he was a member.
OBITUARY.
Olai T. Brattebo was born in Brattebo, Jondall, Hardanger, Norway, Dec. 22, 1865 and immigrated to America in July, 1883. He lived on a farm until 1886, when he married Gurine Borgen and removed to Story City where they have since resided.
His wife and six children (4 boys and two girls) remain to mourn his death, and, besides his mother is till living in the old country. He also leaves three brothers and a sister, only one of whom however lives in America, namely Severin, who is at present in the state of Nevada.
Deceased was a quiet, peace loving man and will be missed by many friends.
