OBITUARY

Rev. Osmond O. Risvold of Minneapolis died Friday, August 7, while on a visit to Centuria, Wis. He was a minister of the Norwegian Lutheran Church of America, and was personally known to a large number in this community.

The deceased was born in Sand, Ryfylke, Norway, July 5, 1854, his parents being O. T. Risvold and Kari Aarthun Risvold. He came to the United States in 1873 and graduated from the Augsburg Seminary in 1882. He served as pastor of the congregation at Centuria, Wis., until 1919, when he retired and moved to Minneapolis.
