DEATH OF MRS. KRAMME

Former Story City Resident Dies in Pennsylvania

Mrs. Eliza Kramme, for many years of resident of Story City, died in Cattawissa, Pa., on Monday of last week, at the home of her daughter, Anna. She was sick only a few hours, taking ill after dinner and dying before supper.

The funeral and interment occurred Sunday afternoon at Laurel, Marshall county, the sermon being preached by the Rev. Brown. Interment was made in the cemetery at that place, where the husband was buried nine years ago. The deceased was the mother of George Kramme and Mrs. A. Jones of Gilbert and Walter Kramme of Nevada. The three sons and three sons-in-laws acted as pallbearers. Short services had been held at Cattawissa before the remains were brought back to Iowa for burial.

The deceased was 63 years, 6 months and 21 days old at the time of her death. The husband passed away nine years ago at this place the the remains were taken back to Laurel for interment. The deceased leaves five daughters and three sons to mourn her death. All were present at the funeral and interment except Mrs. Flickinger, who was unable to come on account of sickness.

The Krammes were residents of the county in an early day and were well and favorably known to many of the older residents of the county.
