OBITUARY
MRS. MALINDA KALTWEDT
Mrs. Malinda Kaltwedt died Saturday, March 2, 1912 at the home of her sister, Mrs. N. L. Svendsen, after several months illness. She was born in Sande, Ryfylke, Norway, in 1848 and was 64 years of age at the time of her death. She came to this country in 1871, settling in Roland, where she was later united in marriage to Sven Kaltwedt and lived on a farm northwest of town. Her husband died about 26 years ago. She leaves one son, Martin Edwinson and two sisters, Mrs. Paul Holland and Mrs. Lars Svendsen. The funeral was held on March 5th from the St. Petri church, Rev. O. P. Vangsness preaching the funeral sermon, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Story City cemetery.
