JOHN H. LARSON DEAD

Relatives at this place received word yesterday that John H. Larson of Slater, brother of the late James H . Larson of this place, had passed away suddenly yesterday morning. His nephew, Leonard Larson of this place, went down there yesterday afternoon. Mr. Larson had boarded the interurban train for Des Moines and took sick shortly after leaving Huxley and before the train reached Alleman, he had passed away. It will be remembered that his brother, James H. Larson, died in a similar manner while on a business trip to Omaha about a year ago.

LARSON FUNERAL SATURDAY

Funeral services for John H. Larson, whose death occurred on an interurban train south of Huxley on Wednesday last week, were held at Slater Saturday. Mr. Larson, who was a brother of the late James H. Larson of this place, would have been 63 years old if he had lived until next July. He was a prominent business man in the southern part of the county, being interested in the lumber business at Slater, Huxley and Alleman. Among those from here who attended the funeral, were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Larson, Mrs. J. H. Larson, Mrs. Anna Opstwedt, Miss Belle Larson, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Olson, Mrs. J. S. Wilson, Misses Mildred and Avis Larson, Jacob Erickson, Malcolm Larson and Sanford Olson.
