BENGST SVENSON DIED WITH 1912

OLD PIONEER WAS NOT DESTINED TO SEE THE NEW YEAR

Bengst Svenson died in the early morning of the last day of 1912, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. O. S. Jondall, five miles southeast of town. He hurt himself in the chest a few weeks ago while chopping wood, but would not see a doctor. Not feeling very well he went to his daughter's home and was taken down almost immediately with pneumonia from which he died.

The funeral services will be held Friday at the Jondall home at 11 o'clock and in the St. Petri church here at 1 o'clock.

Mr. Svenson was 80 years old and lived on his farm east of town for many years. The last years of his life were spent here. He had been married three times and leaves two daughters and two sons to mourn his death.
