OBITUARY OF S. C. MOLSTRE
Sam C. Molstre died at Story City hospital, January 2, at 2:00 a.m., the cause of his death being cancer. Funeral services were held at Radcliffe Lutheran church, Wednesday, January 7 at two o'clock, and he was laid to rest in the Radcliffe cemetery. Rev. Barstad was in charge of he service. The deceased was born in Haugesund, Norway, March 11, 1870. He emigrated to America in 1886, and has been living in this vicinity. Together with his son, Borgen, he has been farming many years northwest of this place. Mr. Molstre had been failing in health for some time, and three months ago went to see his brother, A. C. Molstre, at the hospital at Story City, where he remained until called by death. He leaves to mourn his death one son, Borgen, a sister in Norway, and a brother, A. C. Molstre, superintendent of the Old People's Home at Story City.
