THERMA CHRISTIAN

Death ended the young life of Miss Therma Christian of this city on Monday, April 7th, 1924, at the Sand Beach Sanatorium at Lake Park in the northern part of Minnesota. Death was caused from tuberculosis. The deceased is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. O. Christian of this city. She had been ill for over two years, first suffering from an attack of the flu in January 1922.

Therma Christian was born at Roland, Iowa, on December 22, 1905. She moved with the family to Willmar when she was three years of age. She attended the public schools of Willmar and at the time she was taken ill she was a sophomore in the high school.

Besides her parents, she is mourned by three brothers, Roy and Paul of this city and Orlean of St. Paul and two sisters, (Mildred) Mrs. F. Highstrom of Grove City and Angeline of Minneapolis.

Burial services will be held tomorrow afternoon (Thursday) from the home of her parents on 13th st. South at 2:30 and at 3:00 o'clock from the Vinje Lutheran church, Erv. Arnt J. Vaaler, Pastor of the church will officiate at the services.

The pall bearers will be Dou glas Gerretson, Dillon Baker, William Frost, Marvin Thorpe, Virgil Gabbert and Kern Anderson.
