O. A. T. LARSON FUNERAL HELD
Last Rites for Respected Citizen Held From Bergen Church. Many Present to Pay Respects to Departed Citizen Last Monday Afternoon.
The funeral services for the late O. A. T. Larson, whose sudden demise last Thursday was hronicled in last week's issue of the Record, were held from Bergen church at three o'clock last Monday afternoon, Rev. M. O. Sumstad speaking the words of comfort to the bereaved family and friends. A large concourse of friends were present to pay their last respects to the departed. Interment took place in the Roland cemetery.
O. A. T. Larson was born January 31, 1982, near Morris, Ill., and died on Thursday evening, March 27, being 62 years, 1 month and 25 days old at the time of his death. After reaching manhood he moved to Iowa, engaging in farming, first in Shelby county and later near Story City and at Hubbard where he lived until about three years ago when he retired from the farm and moved to Roland where he lived until claimed by death last Thursday as before stated.
On March 18, 1891, he was united in marriage to Miss Olive Johnson, to which union nine children were born, of which one, Lilly Rose, is dead. Those who are left with Mrs. Larson to mourn the loss of a husband and father are Mrs. W. O. Pickett of Garden City, Stella, Helen, Sarah Ann, Odel, Orin, Thomas and Reuben. He also leaves one grandchild, two brothers and two sisters.
He was a faithful and beloved member of Bergen Lutheran church and will be missed by his fellow members in the church as well as other friends.

May we also extend our heartfelt thanks to Rev. Sumstad for the comforting words spoken during our bereavement and we also wish to thank Berdella Eggland for her beautiful singing.
