THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, October 20, 2005.

Victor J. Lile died Saturday, Oct. 15, at his home in Jordon Valley, Ore. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Broken Bow Cemetery in Broken Bow, Neb.

Vic was born Aug. 14, 1945, in Lake City, to Oliver and Mabel (DeSart) Lile. He grew up in Gilbert and Ames.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Jordon Valley, Ore.; his son, Everett and Jodi, and their children, Christopher, Nicholas and Emily Lilie, of Caldwell, Idaho; his son, John and Patti, and their children, Cody and Ashley Lile, of Kuna, Ore.; his mother-in-law, Lottie Trew of Jordon Valley, Ore.; one sister, Carolyn and Jim Hoagland of Ames; one brother, Billy and Mary Lile of Indianola. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law; and one brother-in-law.
