OBITUARY OF HANS HANSON

Hans Hanson (Skeie) was born at Sand, Norway, Feb. 2, 1843, and passed away at his home in Story City, Dec. 21, 1928, at the age of nearly eighty-six years. He came to America as a young man and had lived in or near Story City the greater part of his life. His first wife died 36 years ago, and his second wife, whom he married after coming to Story City, died a few years ago. His surviving children are: Daniel of Story City, Mrs. Eva Sedgly of Chicago, Isaac of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Julia Calmus of Oklahoma City.

Funeral services were held in the Immanuel church, Rev. Heimarck officiating.

His children wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the neighbors and friends for much sympathy shown them during the illness, death and burial of their beloved father.
