OBITUARY
MRS. LARS JONDALL
Mrs. Lars Jondall died at her home in Story City, March 4, 1927. She had been bedridden for fourteen months during which time she was almost helpless.
Mrs. Jondall was born in Halsnoe, Norway, Jan. 29, 1855, being 72 years at the time of her death. She came to this country in 1869 and was confirmed in Huxley that same year. She was married to Lars Jondall on April 25, 1874, by Rev. Amlund, in the St. Petri Lutheran church. They made their home in Story City until 1884, when they moved to Palo Alto county, where they lived on a farm. There they lived until 1912 when they moved to Story City and have lived here ever since.
She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Lars Jondall, and seven children: Mrs. H. J. Wilcox of Ruthven, Mrs. J. P. Larson of Emmetsburg, Mrs. John Lund of San Diego, Calif., Louis, Hannah, Fred and Minnie of Story City.
The funeral was held March 8, at one o'clock at the home and two o'clock at the St. Petri Lutheran church. Rev. T. T. Heimarck and Rev. G. O. Paulsrud officiated. The choir rendered an appropriate selection and Mrs. C. F. Johnson and Laurentia Donhowe sang a duet at the home.
The pallbearers were A. M. Henderson, Andrew Williamson, Gerhard Larson, B. B. Brattebo, S. Grotness and E. P. Anderson.
