THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, October 19, 2005.

Mrs. Carolyn J. Olsen, 73, of Marshalltown, died suddenly Monday, Oct. 17, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home; the family will be present from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to her family.

She is survived by are three children, Jim (LuAnn) Olsen of Detroit Lakes, Minn.; Deb, Mrs. Gary Williams of Des Moines; and Peggy, Mrs. William Anderson of Des Moines.

There are four grand-children and one great grandchild.

Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters.
