OBITUARIES

Mrs. Ben Hendrickson

Annie Seriene Rasmussen was born July 12, 1855, in Stavanger, Norway. There she lived till the age of 16 years. She came with her parents to America and settled near Fox River, Ill.

At the age of 20 years she was united in marriage to Ben Hendrickson, also of Fox River, Ill., and 41 years ago they moved to Iowa, where they have since made their home. Five children were born to this union, namely, Clarie Belle, who died at the age of 2 years; Mrs. Carl Thompson, who also preceded her in death at the age of 31 years; Miss Mary Hendrickson, at home; Mrs. Hattie Johnson of Toledo, Iowa, and Mrs. Elmer Frette of Story City. Thirteen grandchildren also survive her.

She belonged to the Norwegian Lutheran church. Funeral was held from Randall on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial at the Olson cemetery north of town.
