DEATH OF MRS. RAINBOLT

Aged Lady Passed Away at Gilbert Last Week Wednesday

Sarah J. McClasse (Rainbolt) was born near Lexington, Ky., Nov. 16, 1839, and died at her home in Gilbert Jan. 10, 1917, aged 77 years, 1 month and 24 days.

With her family she moved to Indiana when quite young. On Feb. 18, 1858, she was united in marriage to E. F. Rainbolt near Jonesboro, Ind. To this union were born seven children, namely T. W. Rainbolt, Virgil A. Rainbolt and Frank E. Rainbolt living near Gilbert; Roscoe Rainbolt of Lincoln, Neb., who could not be present at the funeral. One daughter, Eupha B., died at the age of 7 years, 10 months, and two daughter who died in infancy.

The Rainbolt family came to this state in 1879 and lived on a farm west of Gilbert until 1905, when they moved to town. The husband and father died in Gilbert in 1912.

Mrs. Rainbolt early in life became a devout Christian, uniting with the Baptist church.

The funeral services were conducted from the Congregational church in Gilbert Saturday, Rev. Wissler, assisted by Rev. Wendel of Story City, officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Gilbert cemetery, there to await the glad resurrection morn.
