DEATH CLAIMS AGED CITIZEN
Iver Tvedt, whose illness was mentioned in this paper recently, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Tom Olson, at Huxley last Thursday. He was the victim of a stroke of apoplexy a few weeks ago. While he grew somewhat better but slight hope was entertained that he might recover and death was not unexpected.
Funeral took place Sunday afternoon from the home of his daughter and the Lincoln church at Huxley, burial being made beside the remains of those of his wife in the Palestine cemetery. The last sad rites were attended by a large audience. Rev. Wee had charge of the services.
Deceased was a native of Norway where he was born January 1, 1825. While born in that far off country the major part of his life had been spent in America. Three daughters, who survive him were present at the funeral.
