THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, October 13, 2005.

Sharon Keeker Sanders, 65, died Friday Oct. 7, in Sioux Falls, S.D., where she has made her home for the past 14 years.

Sharon Keeker Sanders was born June 1, 1940, in Ames, to Erwin and Arlene Sunding Keeker. She was a 1958 graduate of Ames High School and attended Iowa State University.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Sanders of Sioux Falls; one son, Tony (Peggy) Sanders of Sioux Falls; one daughter, Deborah (Joey) Jones of Des Moines; one brother, Maurice (Ann) Keeker of Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister, Pamela (Dick) Burnell of Blairsville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Christopher Sticken and Michael Sanders.
