Obituary

MRS. REGENA PEDERSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Regena Pederson, 81, Story City, were held Feb. 25, in the Story City Sunset Chapel at 1:30 and at 2 o'clock in the Bethel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Olaf Holen and Rev. Pederson officiating.

Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery near Randall. Pallbearers were Otis Frette, Merle Frette, Ray Frette, Pete Frette, Porter Quam and Howard Quam.

Mrs. Regena Pederson was the daughter of Peder and Anna Frette, born in Boone County on October 7, 1879.

On July 8, 1930 she was married to Henry G. Pederson, who died Dec. 21, 1933.

She was a member of Elim Lutheran Church in Randall, until moving to Story City where she transferred her membership to Bethel Lutheran Church.

She entered the Story City Sunset Home in 1957. The last six weeks of her life she had been in failing health, and she died at the Sunset Home on Feb. 22.

Surviving are two step daughters: Mrs. Lorinda Oswood of Hills, Montana and Mrs. Mathilda Robb of Florida; one granddaughter; and two sisters: Mrs. Julia Townswick and Mrs. Peder Quam, both of Story City.
