Ames, Nov. 7.--Almina Fritch Sheehey was born in Saxony, Germany, July 20, 1849. She came to America with her parents when only two years old. They resided in New York for a time and then moved to Morrison, Ill. When fourteen years of age, she joined the Baptist church, and in later years they came to Ames. She was one of the chapter members of our church here. She was married to Roger Sheehey, Aug. 24, 1871. To this union were born five children: Mrs. W. E. Tanner, of Des Moines; Mrs. A. W. Heyermann, Miss Martha, Mr. Harry Sheehey and Mrs. J. R. Hollingsworth, of Des Moines, all of whom survive her, with the exception of Mrs. Heyermann, who preceded her six years ago. Mrs. Sheehey died at her home in Ames Wednesday morning, Nov. 2, 1910, after a prolonged illness. Many friends and neighbors united in extending sympathy to the bereaved family and in bearing testimony to the many excellent qualities and to the deeds of kindness wrought by the one who has gone. The funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, Rev.
