GLENN FREELAND

Glenn Goodwin Freeland, the son of John and Julia Freeland, was born August 4, 1914, in Palestine township, Story county, Iowa, and died Monday morning, October 1, 1934, at an age of 20 years and 27 days.

He grew to young manhood in the community of his birth and attended the Huxley schools. After the death of his father, John Freeland, several years ago, he became the bread winner in the home and was caring for the work on the farm at the time of his death.

Besides a beloved mother he is survived by seven sisters and a brother. They are: Pearl Weeks and Mabel Weeks, Evelyn Sheehey and Mildred, Joan, Thelma, Loraine and a brother, Stanley. Also many other relatives and a host of friends.

The deceased will be remembered as a kind, dutiful son, with a large circle of friends with whom he was very popular.
