Nels Weste Passes Away.

Nels C. Weste died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dueland Monday, Sept. 20, 1897 after several months illness. He was born in Olen, Norway in December 1816 and reached the old age of 80 years and nine months. He had been in this country about thirty years and most of that time was spent in this vicinity. He leaves a wife, two daughters and one son who are supposed to live in Spokane Falls, Washington. The funeral occurred Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Jerstad had charge of the services. He was buried in the Slater cemetery.

Floral offerings were numerous and beautiful.
